Police arrest convicted felon after stolen motorcycle found

Wichita police arrested a convicted felon after a stolen motorcycle and gun was found. 

At approximately 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to investigate a possible stolen motorcycle in the backyard of 1201 S. Martinson. 

Police said they found 22-year-old Daniel Fowler working on the stolen 1999 Honda motorcycle. Fowler fled on foot. The officers caught up to Fowler, and while he was being taken into custody, a handgun fell from his waistband. The handgun was also stolen.

Fowler was arrested on charges of felon in possession of a firearm, battery of a law enforcement officer, resist arrest, possession of stolen property, unlawful possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
