A timeline of events was presented during the briefing and DA Marc Bennett as well as WPD Captain Brent Allred answered questions from the media.

Authorities say Glass was and is the only suspect in the case of Lucas’ death and no charges will be filed concerning the boy’s death.

“In light of the death of the sole suspect in the death of Lucas Hernandez, no charges will be filed concerning his death in February of 2018,” read a statement provided by the District Attorney.

Glass was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in June.

Captain Allred went on to say there was no evidence that Mr. Hernandez had any knowledge or was in any way complicit in the death of Lucas.

Text conversations between Hernandez and Glass reveal no indication or discussion of any kind regarding the disappearance or death of Lucas.
