Police need help identifying suspect in south Wichita bank robbery

The Wichita Police Department and the FBI need help identifying a suspect in a recent bank robbery.

It happened on Dec. 21 at Southwest National Bank, 3101 S. Seneca.

At approximately 11:50 a.m., officers responded to the bank robbery. Employees stated that a suspect entered the bank armed with a handgun and pepper spray. The suspect demanded money, sprayed two employees with the pepper spray and then fled in a black SUV. The employees sustained only minor injuries.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’09”, medium to heavy set, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweat pants and a white painted on skull mask.
