Sedgwick County deputies bust moves at Wichita Ice Center to raise money for Kunze family

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - It was all about who could strut their stuff outside of Wichita's Ice Center on Thursday.

Area kids, the Thunder mascot and Sedgwick County Sheriff's deputies grooved during a dance-off.

It was all part of the Thunder-Blue campaign to raise money for fallen Deputy Robert Kunze's family.

"Our goal which we thought was a high goal which was $50,000 to give to Deputy Kunze's family, we have surpassed that," said Brandon Steven, Wichita Thunder Owner. "We are over $60,000 now and we are still going."

All $10 tickets to the Thunder games on Friday and Saturday night of opening weekend are going to the Kunze family.

Dance-off participants took home tickets that were bought by people who couldn't make it to the game.
