A Wichita high school senior is leaving a lasting impression on the school district.
Jack Lynch created a new Keeper of the Plains for the district administrative building.
The colorful Keeper features school books stacked up to create a vibrant eye-catching sculpture.
The sculpture took him four months to complete which he says reflects his personal style.
“Just the fact of me, incorporating a lot of different colors, and just the fact that it’s very vibrant, I like making my art pop out and making it draw attention to big crowds,” said Lynch.
Jack will graduate from Southeast High School next week. He will major in art at KU.
