Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in northwest Sedgwick County late Tuesday afternoon. The crash occurred shortly before 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of W. 29th St. North and North 167th Street West. That’s due south of Colwich.
Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Dan Hershberger said witnesses reported a black Chevrolet passenger car was traveling southbound on 167th St. when a gray Honda traveling eastbound on 29th St. failed to stop at the stop sign, striking the Chevrolet.
Hershberger said the driver of the Chevrolet and the two people in the Honda all had serious injuries.
One of the victims suffered critical injuries. A second person reportedly suffered serious injuries while a third person’s injuries were less serious.
