WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita police say a shooting that left two people dead in a southside home likely involved illegal drugs.
Police responded to a shooting call in the 2100 block of S. Erie, near East Mount Vernon Street and South Hillside Street, just before 3:30 p.m Sunday.
Officers found a 30-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman shot inside the home. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the victims were known to frequent the home. Investigators do not think this was a random incident.
