Two recovering after home invasion and shooting near Valley Center


SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) – The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects after a home invasion and robbery left two people shot east of Valley Center. It happened in the 9500 block of North Oliver just after 9 a.m. Saturday.

The victims are identified as 51-year-old Nikki M. Stowe and 52-year-old Allen F. Stowe both of Valley Center. Both are still hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

There are two suspects in the case, and both are thought to be in their 30’s.

One is a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin build, dark short hair, thin beard, with a tattoo on his neck. The other is a black male, approximately 6 feet tall with a heavy build. The suspects were driving a white or gray sedan and should be considered armed and dangerous.
