Two Salina men accused of sexually assaulting teen


SALINA, Kan. (KSNW) – Two Salina men were arrested and accused of sexually assaulting a teen on Wednesday. She was found Tuesday at a home in Salina.

According to, the 15-year-old runaway teen from Kansas City, Missouri told police about being drugged and sexually assaulted in two Salina homes on Dec. 28. After the investigation, police arrested 55-year-old Raymond Ross and 70-year-old Gene Engberg.

The men are facing charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and aggravated human trafficking.

Court records indicate one of the men met the girl in Salina, gave her methamphetamine and had sex with her. He then took her to the other man, who allegedly had sex with her before she was taken to the home where she was found.
