UPDATE: Homeless man killed in east Wichita hit-and-run identified, suspect arrested

Wichita police said a 22-year-old homeless man was killed after being hit by a car on Monday night. It happened around 9:30 in the 5200 block of East Kellogg. 

According to police, the 22-year-old man was walking on Kellogg when a black BMW 3 Series hit him. The man died of his injuries. 

He has been identified by police as Christian Rials. 

Police said the car continued eastbound. The vehicle has been located. 

Around 2 a.m. police said a 20-year-old man was arrested at the patrol east substation for felony hit-and-run and a revoked license.
