Wellington school evacuated due to bomb threat

WELLINGTON, Kan. (KSNW) – A bomb threat was called into Eisenhower Elementary school in Wellington Friday morning. The building was evacuated and all other schools in the district were placed on lockdown.

All parents have been notified through the district’s notification system.

The call was phoned into the school directly. All students were moved to Free Will Baptist Church just north of the school.

Students were picked up by parents. The bomb squad searched the building and nothing was found.
