Wichita man arrested for driving Jeep into west Wichita home

One man is behind bars after a scary driving incident in west Wichita early this morning. 

According to Wichita police, Andrew Beringer-Mullies, 24, of Wichita, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and reckless driving. 

The arrest came after Beringer-Mullies allegedly drove a 2011 Jeep Wrangler into a home in the 8700 block of W. University around 2:30 Friday morning. 

No one was injured in the crash, however the home did sustain damages. 

Beringer-Mullies was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail. No other information has been released at this time.
