Wichita Pride celebrated at picnic, festival and parade set for Sunday

The annual Wichita Pride celebration continued Saturday with its community family picnic at OJ Watson Park. 

The picnic was open to anyone who had a pride button, which can be purchased for $5. 

It featured food, fun and everything else you’d expect from a picnic. 

Pride week will be capped off Sunday with its biggest event. Which includes its rally, parade and festival. 

The rally starts an noon at the Historic Sedgwick County Courthouse. THe parade will kick off immediately afterwards at 1:00 p.m., which starts at the courthouse and goes to the Mid-America All Indian Center. 

And the Pride Festival is held at the Indian Center which will open from noon to 6:00 p.m.
