Wichita woman killed in southeast Kansas crash


WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A 21-year-old Wichita woman was killed Wednesday afternoon in a crash in southeast Kansas. It happened north of Iola on Highway 169.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2006 Kia Sorento was traveling northbound when it crossed the center line and collided with a semi.

The driver of the Kia, 21-year-old Jahneesa C. Towers, was killed in the crash. The 32-year-old driver of the semi, from Nebraska, was transported to Allen County Regional Medical Center for his injuries.
