Need a ride? If you are a WSU student, staff or faculty member you are in luck!

Wichita Transit and Wichita State University have partnered up to provide free bus rides to students. A new bus route will also be added to the transit system along Oliver Street.

You’ll notice the changes on January 22 when students, staff and faculty will be able to ride any Wichita Transit regular fixed route bus for free during normal operating hours. Simply show your Shocker ID to the driver and enjoy the ride.

A new bus route referred to as Route 202 will connect WSU locations of the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex, the main campus and the WSU South location at 3805 E. Harry St. The route will travel north and south on Oliver without connecting to the Wichita Transit Center. Service will run on an hourly schedule Monday through Friday beginning at 7:30 a.m. and ending each day after the conclusion of WSU evening classes.
