Hurricane Michael made landfall Wednesday afternoon near Mexico Beach, Florida.
The above video shows the intense flooding and destruction caused by the Category Four storm in that area.
Michael slammed the Florida Panhandle with 155 mile per hour winds, which snapped trees and tore off roofs.
It is the strongest storm to make landfall in the Continental U.S. since Hurricane Andrew in 1992.
And it’s the strongest hurricane to hit the Florida Panhandle in recorded history.
Florida Governor Rick Scott requested a major disaster declaration from the federal government to help expedite funding and resources.
