A crash involving an El Paso passenger bus and three other vehicles on a highway near Albuquerque has killed three people and sent 22 to the hospital.
The crash occurred on I-25 just north of Bernalillo around 2:30 a.m. Sunday and involved one bus, one semi, one truck and one car.
38 people were involved in the crash; 35 were on the bus.
Three people have died and 22 people have been transported to the hospital. Three are currently in critical condition.
UNMH says the injuries range from broken bones and lacerations to head and internal injuries.
The crash scene is about 100 yards long.
Sandoval County Fire, Rio Rancho Fire, AFR, Bernalillo Fire and Albuquerque EMS are all responding to the incident.
I-25 north and southbound north of Bernalillo is closed in both directions as the investigation continues.
