Police in Georgia use coin toss to decide to arrest driver during traffic stop

National / World

Police in Roswell, Georgia are responding to a local news investigation that showed a video of a woman being arrested on the basis of a coin flip.

Video, first uncovered by 11Alive News, showed what happened after Sarah Webb was pulled over for allegedly speeding past a Roswell cruiser last April.

In the footage, two Roswell police officers are heard talking about what they should do with Webb.

One of the officers decided to open a coin flip app on her phone to make the decision.

You can see the dash cam video from the traffic stop below.

The two officers involved were placed on administrative leave. The video of the traffic stop has since gone viral.
