Newsfeed Now: Heaven has a wall, says grocery store ad

Newsfeed Now

On Newsfeed Now for Feb. 11, we were talking about the border wall debate as President Trump heads for El Paso, Texas to hold a rally for the wall. Back in Washington the stalemate goes on amid another threatened government shutdown.

From South Arkansas a grocery store ad mailer proclaims “Heaven has a wall.” Some shoppers say they’re fine with it, others not so much. KARK’s Susan El Khoury joined the conversation.

From our Lafayette, Louisiana station KLFY, Tracy Wirtz shared a recap on the 2019 Grammy Awards that included some wins for Louisiana natives.

Then Bill Riales from WKRG in Mobile introduced us to Korean War Veteran and author Brewster Milton Robertson and told us how his 90th birthday was made extra special by all the cards he received. It was no small number!
