Ribbon cutting held for new Sedgwick County tag office

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Sedgwick County officials on Thursday held a ribbon cutting for the new tag office.

The current tag office is located at 200 West Murdock. The new tag office will located at Douglas and Meridian in the old Dillons store location.

Sedgwick County Chairman Jim Howell said the new office is considerably bigger than the current Murdock office.

Parking will go from 44 spaces to a 139 at the new location. The new location will have 29 stations including spots for fleets and dealers.

The new tag office cost $2.3 million and includes furnishings. The office will open to customers on Monday.
