WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita police released new information about a stabbing Monday that has since turned deadly. Police said 25-year-old Trebeon Golston died after being taken to the hospital.
Around 1:45 a.m., officers were called to a parking lot near 1st Street and Washington in Old Town. They located Golston, who was not breathing and suffered multiple stab wounds. Officers began life-saving measures. EMS transported him to the hospital.
Police said they learned that a fight between a suspect and Golston happened at a business in Old Town and that Golston drove himself to the area where he was later found.
Police said a 38-year-old Wichita man has been arrested on suspicion of one count of first-degree murder. The name of the suspect wasn’t released. The department said the case will be presented to the district attorney’s office for charges.
