Topeka man arrested for putting mustard in officer’s drink

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – A former Topeka McDonald’s worker was arrested Friday afternoon, accused of putting mustard in a Topeka police officer’s drink.

Jail records show 26-year-old Jonathan Gill was booked into jail earlier this afternoon on two counts of battery against a law enforcement officer.

A Facebook group called “Kansas Going Blue” posted a photo last weekend with the caption stating a McDonalds in Kansas handed an on-duty police officer Doctor Pepper with mustard in it.

Gill was fired shortly after the investigation by the local McDonald’s owners.
