WELLINGTON, Kan. (KSNW) — Power was knocked out to the city of Wellington for several hours Friday.
City officials say the power was knocked out around 12:45 p.m. The problem was traced to a tree branch being blown down, taking down a major power line.
City crews were able to restore power within a few hours. Wind speeds are expected to return to normal this weekend.
