Sedgwick County Election Commissioner Angela Caudillo said that registered voters in Sedgwick County can vote early in person at any of the early in-person locations. Voters who choose to vote on Election Day will need to go to their assigned polling locations.
To vote by mail, complete an advance voting application and mail, email, or fax it to the Election Office. The office will begin mailing ballots 20 days before Election Day. The last day the office can mail a ballot is seven days before the election. The voted ballot must be returned to the Election Office, any Early Voting location, or an Election Day polling location by 7 p.m. on Election Day.
“We’ve sent over 10,000 ballots, and we’ve gotten a little over 600 and that’s a good start and we expect those to come in in a steady stream. For those who did request a ballot by mail, they can return those by mail to us, they just need to be postmarked by Election Day, that’s the second and received by us the Friday after the election,” said Claudillo.
