Buhler Crusaders start with a clean slate this football season

Friday Football Fever

The Buhler Crusaders will look like a brand new team going into this new season, and that’s because they are returning zero started to the team this year.

In his 13th season, head coach Steve Warner lost 10 players from the all-conference first team last year. Among those 10, the Crusaders have to replace a quarterback for the fourth time in a row.

The quarterback in charge this year is senior Colton Goans. Goans says he looked up to and studied former quarterback Ethan White who lead the team to the 2016 state finals.

Some of the players say they are more motivated more than ever to prove the doubters wrong and leave it all on the field.
