East Blue Aces Football ready for a bounce-back 2018

For the East Blue Aces, 2017 was a tale of two sides of the ball.

On defense, East was solid, giving up just over 16 points per game and keeping the Blue Aces in the game. But on offense, things didn’t go quite as smoothly. That’s what first-year head coach Ene Akpan is tasked with changing heading into the upcoming season.

Akpan, a former football and track athlete at Wichita South, is trying to change the culture of this Blue Aces program. And he’s got the team believing they can make some noise in 2018.
