Wichita West football ready to prove doubters wrong in 2018

After going 3-6 in 2016, 2017 was a bounce-back year for Wichita West. The Pioneers finished with a 5-4 record, including a 4-2 record in City League play.

Heading into 2018, plenty of West’s biggest playmakers are returning, keeping expectations high within the program. But head coach Weston Schartz and his Pioneers know they aren’t getting a lot of respect by those outside the program, and they’re looking forward to proving the doubters wrong starting August 31st against Hutchinson.
