Full Team comes together at Chiefs Training Camp

For the first time this training camp, all of the Kansas City Chiefs hit the field today at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.

New wide receiver Sammy Watkins showed up sans dreads, and quarterback Patrick Mahomes got a chance to throw to a few more of the Chiefs’ offensive weapons. The team is still not in pads just yet, but today’s practice was an important start to building team chemistry for the upcoming season. There’s a lot of talent on this Kansas City team, but at some positions, there isn’t a ton of experience playing together. The Chiefs first preseason game is two weeks from today at Arrowhead Stadium against the Houston Texans.
