The final day for the Wichita Open started out with round three leaders still creeping their way to the top. For Kansas native Chris Thompson who started off well in the beginning, he will end up finishing the day tied for 16-th at one under with two birdie’s and a bogey.
But going straight into the play-off’s, Brandon Hagy, Brady Schnell, and Scott Pickney all finished round four at -14. Hagy would go for the birdie putt and makes it and that would eliminate Scott Pickney, giving him third place to finish the tour. Schnell extended the play-off matching Hagy’s birdie putt going into the second round. The money shot would come in when Schnell sinks in an 11-foot birdie putt and wins the 2018 Wichita open. This is his first Web.com tour in his 100-th career start.
