After announcing he was leaving Kansas State at the beginning of the month, former Wildcat quarterback has found his next destination.

The fourth year junior announced on his Twitter Thursday afternoon that he will be headed to El Paso to play for the UTEP Miners.

After graduating this semester, Delton will be eligible to play for the Miners when the 2019 season kicks off.

Delton has connections to UTEP and head coach Dana Dimel.

Dimel was Delton’s offensive coordinator before taking over as head coach at UTEP this year.

The Hays native completed 44 of 80 passes for 554 yards and two touchdowns under center for the Wildcats during the 2018 season.

He also finished third in rushing for the team with 234 yards and two touchdowns.
