The Kansas Jayhawks beat the Emporia Sate Hornets 93 to 55 Thursday night in Allen Fieldhouse.

The man who got it all started was Junior forward Dedric Lawson. In his first real action as a Jayhawk, Lawson came out hot notching a double-double and ending the night with 31 points. Other new-comers shined bright tonight as well, including Sophomore guard Charlie Moore. Moore started out as a Freshman at Cal two years ago before taking the route Lawson did and transferring to KU. Moore made his 3-point attempts throughout the night.
