Maize flies past Eisenhower, 53-47

Local Sports

The Maize Eagles kept their undefeated season alive, as they took down Eisenhower 53-47 in their 5A Sub-State matchup.

This game was all knotted at 41 with just four minutes to go in the game.

Some tough defensive play led to dunk by senior Caleb Grill that helped give the Eagles the momentum they need to get the win.

The Eagles sit at 21-0 as they prepare to play for a 5A State Title in Emporia next week.
