A week from tonight, 2016 Olympic Bronze Medalist and IBA Flyweight World title holder Nico Hernandez will make his way back in the ring down in Mulvane.
The DAZN card, headlined by Jarrell Miller versus Bogdan Dinu is set to take place at the Kansas Star Casino on November 17th.
Right now, Hernandez is set to fight in an undercard fight against Josue Morales.
Sitting undefeated at 5-0 with four wins by KO, Hernandez says he’s ready to get back in the ring in front of his hometown fans.
“I’m glad to be able to have that fan base, have that support behind me, you know, to keep pushing me, you know coming out of the tunnel and when I hear my fans yelling my name and chanting my name, I’m just blessed,” said Hernandez. “Going into this fight, you know, I’m feeling confident, I’m feeling really excited, like I said before at the press conference in New York, Kansas has never seen a card like this and I’m just excited,” added Hernandez.
The fight was originally set to take place in Atlantic City but was moved down here by the promoters after adding Hernandez to one of the undercard bouts.
