Salina Central gallops past Heights 45-41

The Salina Central Mustangs basketball team will have the chance to play for a 5A state title.

The fifth-seeded Mustangs were able to slip past the fourth-seed Heights Falcons on the road, with a 45 to 41 win.

Senior Harper Williams would lead the way for Salina Central with 12 points.

Senior Jaden Okon put up 18 points for the Falcons in the loss.

This is the fourth straight year the Mustangs have made it to state.
