Shocker faithful were at WSU Wednesday to welcome the men’s basketball team back to Wichita.

The team made it to the NIT Final Four but couldn’t overcome the Lipscomb Bison Tuesday.

Coach Gregg Marshall talked to fans about the game and the Shocker season while some of the players accepted hugs from the crowd and gave out some as well.

One player says it was an amazing ride.

“This whole thing that we went through that we went through was amazing, just everything in life that God gave me was a lot of challenges, and it helped me,” said Samajae Haynes-Jones, senior guard.

The Shockers ended the season 22-15.
