The Wichita State Shockers baseball team couldn’t pull out a series victory in Orlando, falling to the UCF Knights, 8-4.
The Knights got on the board in the second inning, after a Matthew Mika solo home run.
UCF would push their lead to 3-0, after a two-run home run from Rylan Thomas in the third inning.
Shockers starter Liam Eddy went three innings, giving up three runs on five hits. He also had two strikeouts and two walks.
Luke Ritter had two RBI’s for the Shockers on the day.
The Shockers will be back out on the road later this week, when they travel to Manhattan to play Kansas State.
That game is set for Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
