Ware and West, bringing energy to the Chiefs

Local Sports

Chiefs running back Spencer Ware got a taste of being back on the field last Sunday and now the Chiefs brought back running back Charcandrick West on Monday.

Ware had reclaimed his starting position since the release of Kareem Hunt and after two road games and a bye week, he will be back in Arrowhead stadium to take on the Ravens. “Nothings changed, make big plays and score touchdowns… Win games, second effort goes a long way and like I said just fight for one another. So nothings changed for I know as personally me as a player and as also a person mentality wise like I do everything for my teammates, trying to do whatever to win,” says Ware.

Not foreign to Head Coach Andy Reid and his system, Charcandrick West is now back in the mix. The running back saw a strong season with the Chiefs where he shined with four touchdowns and 634 rushing yards.

“The situation that I walked in is crazy, I mean to be on a team this good that has a high chance of winning a superbowl, to be somewhere that I started, it’s like a dream. It’s like my…I say everyday I want to write a book and it just keeps adding and adding and adding more pages man because this is a crazy situation to me,” Says West.

The Chiefs will take on the Ravens at noon.
