It might be their first year in the Minor League Basketball Association, but the Wichita Wizards are making a statement.

After a week off, the Wizards were back out on the road, this time out in Kansas City to take on the Grillers.

These two teams played back on April 7th, when the Wizards won 142-118 at Friends University.

Saturday night’s matchup was pretty similar as the Wizards came away with the 109-75 win.

Aaron Scaled led the way for the Wizards with 19 points.  Shamar Acuay chipped in with 18 points as well.

The win pushes their regular season record to 5-0.

The Wizards hit the road again next week for a weekend doubleheader.

They will play the Dallas-Forth Worth United on Saturday, May 4th.  They will follow that up on Sunday, May 5th with a game against the North Texas Saints.
