Wichita State University has confirmed Austin Reaves has been released from the basketball program.
Corey Evans, National Basketball Analyst at Rivals.com, broke the news this morning on Twitter.
Reaves will have to sit out one year and will have two years of eligibility.

Back in Arkansas, Reaves, who grew up in a prominent basketball family, led Cedar Ridge to three state titles in four years.
Last month, Landry Shamet announced that he is foregoing his junior and senior season at Wichita State University for the 2018 NBA Draft.
