In Lucas, we visited the Garden of Eden and Brant’s Market.
Lucas is an eclectic town of about 400 residents. But it’s the home of art from people from across Kansas. Grassroots art can be seen across the community, on buildings, signs, telephone poles, art is everywhere.
It’s known for it’s famous public restroom, and one of its most famous residents, S.P. Dinsmoor, a civil war veteran who turned his home into a unique art installation known as the Garden of Eden.
