Rain is starting to move across the state. Most of the rain is still in NW and NC Kansas. This front is still getting organized. As it gets more organized, it will bring rain for SW and SC Kansas tonight.
The front is cutting across the sunflower state. This is bringing colder temperatures behind it. The front will get to Wichita within the next couple of hours. When it does, we will stay dry, but colder temperatures will follow.
Where is the rain? Well, the front is still putting itself together. When it does, rain will build in SW Kansas and push east into the Wichita area later tonight.
The heaviest of the rain will fall late tonight and into tomorrow morning. A few thunderstorms isn’t out of the question. However, we won’t see any severe weather. Just some good soaking rain.
The LOW will track east. As it does, wrap around rain will stick around NC and SC Kansas for tomorrow. This rain will be light, but you’ll need to use your windshield wipers.
Rain totals will be less than this past weekend, but some areas will see over half an inch.
