Let’s chat about rain! Yep, we have been talking about it all week and it’s still holding together. In fact, the rain chances look even more promising. Let’s break it down…
Today, we won’t see any rain. Instead, we hold onto the sunshine and the cooler weather. Yes, it will be cooler today, but highs still stay in the 60’s. Additionally, it will stay windy through the day.
Because of the warm temperatures and strong winds … SW Kansas is still under a red flag warning. This will bring fire danger for that area. This won’t be as bad as yesterday.
Tomorrow everything stays quiet. The winds calm and the temperatures stay in the mid 60’s. Let’s skip ahead into the weekend. This weekend could be a bit tricky. As this next system moves in … it brings a great chance of rain. This rain will cover most of the state. The good news is … the severe storms look to stay south, but a few could move into SW Kansas. For Wichita … this looks like some good ole fashion rain and a few rumbles of thunder.
This rain looks to stick around through the day on Saturday. This won’t bring any flooding concerns, but you will need the umbrella.
