Temperatures were all over the map today. We were in the 40’s in Wichita and in the 80’s and near 90 in SW Kansas. We are cooler in Wichita because of all the clouds. It was warmer towards SW and NW Kansas because they are dealing with stronger winds out of the south and lots of sun. SW and NW Kansas are seeing constant sustainable winds of 20-30 MPH. Later tonight and tomorrow some of the wind gusts will reach upwards of 60 MPH. You will also notice the winds shift out of the north. Tonight there is a slight chance of rain towards NC Kansas. Otherwise, we stay dry here in Wichita with very strong winds. The winds will calm come Wednesday and we will warm up a bit. Temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday will near 60 and 70.Friday looks to be Wichita’s best chance of rain. This will be a system we have to watch over the next few days.
