Waking up to morning fog and drizzle across Kansas. There is a batch of non-severe storms riding along the Kansas Turnpike early the morning. At most heavy rain and small hail can be expected for any travelers.
Another travel hazard to worry about this morning is dense fog. Take it easy. Expecting the fog to lift by mid-morning. Areas of drizzle will linger.
Storm chances continue through the day. Best bet remains across southeast Kansas. Main threats for stronger storms appear to be hail, wind, and heavy rain.
If you’re not seeing rain in your backyard, it’ll be windy and mild in the 50s and 60s.
Rain chances linger overnight tonight into tomorrow. Same deal here, meaningful moisture hugs southeast Kansas.
Drying out by Wednesday with another round of storms on tap Thursday. Overall, the pattern this week looks more active compared to previous weeks. There will be a lot of ups and downs in the temperature department.
