As March Madness kicks off, so does our warming trend. Visitors this week will get a true taste of our weather with a typical Kansas wind in full force. Fire danger a concern as winds crank back up.
Wind swept warmth drive temperatures into the 60s and 70s today.
Gusty winds stick around tonight with lows in the 40s. A quick send off tomorrow as the heat really packs on.
Thursday will be the warmest day when highs tap into the upper 70s and lower 80s. Record highs are possible.
Increasing rain chances late Thursday into Friday. We’re not working with a lot of moisture here. Just enough to dirty up your car if you’re lucky enough.
Most of the precipitation will hug northern and eastern Kansas. Some storms are possible although severe weather is not anticipated.
