Scattered showers and storms lingering across southeast Kansas this morning. No rough weather expected. Hot once again today but slightly cooler compared to where we’ve been. Storm chances return by Tuesday afternoon and persist into tomorrow.

Storms have the potential once again to turn strong to severe. Large hail and damaging winds are going to be the primary concerns. Expecting most of this activity to favor southern Kansas into northern Oklahoma, including the Metro.

Rain and storms linger through the night. These should lose their punch as the night progresses with gusty winds and small hail possible.

Rain and clouds hover around through Wednesday, keeping temperatures down in the 80s. Heat builds back across Kansas for the second half of the week.
