Getting hotter as we head into the holiday weekend. Slim rain chances stick around but most, if not all will stay dry.
Steamy breezes are back as the thermometer sky rockets back into the high 80s and low 90s.
There’s a chance of strong to severe storms this evening. A slight risk has been posted in western and northern Kansas. Strongest storms could produce large hail and damaging wind.
Some storms could linger into the early morning hours on Friday.
The holiday weekend features heat and then some more heat. Records are in jeopardy, especially on Sunday.
