Laura’s Look: Stretch of summer days; Storm chances

Weather Blog

The summery stretch continues with no signs of change until the weekend.

More sunshine today and lighter wind. Staying toasty with highs climbing through the 80s and into the 90s.

Unsettled weather returns tonight, not everyone will see storms.

A few showers and storms work across western Kansas this evening.

Might be an early wake up call for Thursday with a batch of storms in around the Wichita Metro. Not anticipating rough weather. At most, the stronger storms could produce small hail and gusty winds.

No changes in the temperature department through the end of the week.

Next go round of stormy skies settles in Friday night for northern Kansas. The heat finally breaks by Mother’s Day. – Laura Bannon
