A mixed bag of everything this weekend. From warm to cold with a little rain.
No need for the heavy coat this morning, it’s chilly in the upper 30s.
Spring fever settles in this afternoon with widespread temperatures in the 70s.
With the warmth comes fire danger. A Red Flag Warning goes into effect for northwest Kansas this afternoon. The entire states remains extremely dry, please be mindful that vegetation remains extremely dry. Grass fires can easily get out of control whether your county is under a fire weather alert or not.
Clouds work back in tonight keeping comfy temps around tonight.
Best chance for rain on Saturday stays across southern Kansas. A few storms are possible although they won’t be severe.
Turning windy and cooler on Sunday.
Don’t forget this is the weekend we spring forward. This is an excellent time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors.
