Dense fog will be an issue this morning for portions of Western and Central Kansas. These areas will be under a Dense Fog Advisory through late morning.
Give yourself some extra time this morning getting to work.
Areas where it’s not foggy will still have to deal with a mainly cloudy sky. There’s a small chance of a few sprinkles across northern parts of Kansas through the morning.
It’ll be tough to ditch the cloud cover today. There will be some peeks of sun later in the day but we’ll still spend much of Monday with more clouds than sunshine.
A front/boundary is sitting over Kansas and isn’t only bringing the cloud cover to the area but is also causing a wide range in temperatures this morning from the the 40s to 60s.
We’ll see a big difference in highs too, ranging from the 60s and 70s to 80s and possibly even low 90s.
Clouds break up a bit more tonight, turning partly cloudy. Winds pick up out of the south Tuesday, helping the entire area warm into the 80s. It’ll be another day of a cloud/sun mix but will stay dry all day. Windy conditions and warmer than normal temperatures continue into Wednesday.
Wednesday night and Thursday is when we’ll start to see changes when it comes to rain/t-storm chances and cooler temperatures. Another front/boundary will sit over Kansas and bring the possibility of wet weather all the way through the weekend.
